Divyanka Tripathy will be seen in the role of Ishita Iyer, a simple, middle-class girl, with a past of a failed relationship whose life changes when fate brings her face to face with a 5 year old girl, Ruhi with whom she develops an immediate bond.

The serial also brings the comeback of Ekta Kapoor on Star Plus. Talking about the show, Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Telefilms, said “My association with STAR goes back a long way.
